Nádraží Otvovice je železnicní uzel na trati c.093 (Kralupy nad Vltavou - Kladno). Tato trat je neelektrifikovaná, jednokolejná a slouží pro osobní i nákladní železnicní dopravu. Stanicí Otvovice každý den projíždí dva nákladní vlaky spolecnosti Advanced World Transport s hnedým uhlím ze severních Cech pro kladenskou elektrárnu. Výškový rozdíl, který musí zdolat vlak jedoucí z Kralup do Kladna je 165 metru. Na tuto vlakovou soupravu je efektní pohled, nebot celo vlakové soupravy tvorí dve tažné lokomotivy a na konci vypomáhají dve tlacící drezíny.
Stanicní budova v Otvovicích je majetkem ceského státu a spravuje ji státní organizace Správa železnicní dopravní cesty.

Otvovice Railway Station is a railway junction on track No.093 (Kralupy nad Vltavou - Kladno). This line is non-electrified, monorail and is used for both passenger and freight rail transport. The Otvovice station passes two freight trains of Advanced World Transport with brown coal from Northern Bohemia for the Kladno power plant every day. The height difference that must be fought by a train from Kralupy to Kladno is 165 meters. This train set is a spectacular view, as the front of the train set consists of two traction locomotives, and at the end it is assisted by two pushing locomotives.
The station building is the property of the Czech state and is managed by the state organization Railway Infrastructure Administration.
