A bench dedicated to Graham Baum, located near the Anstey war memorial.

A plaque on the bench reads:
In loving memory
of Graham Baum
sadly missed but
not forgotten R.I.P

Mr Baum was 1st Chairman of T.S. Sabre - Navy Cadet Force

"Mr Graham Baum (Lcpl British Army)

1st Chairman of T.S. Sabre

Graham was not only a legend in his own right but a hero to many people. Graham brightened the day of all he came into contact with and will be forever missed by staff and cadets alike. Graham selflessly gave his time to support not only the unit and its cadets but also to the Royal British Legion.

Graham has left such a positive mark on both organisations and inspired us to not only open TS Sabre but to push it forward to support the youth of Anstey and wider Leicestershire. His passion and determination will live on in the thousands of cadets that will come and go from the unit that he was such an instrumental part in opening.

To our inspiration, our friend, our chairman, we thank you for everything you have done for the unit, its staff and its cadets.
?

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.” "
