EN: This wayside cross is located on a side street in the northeast of Brislach in an area that was probably not yet developed at the time of erection.
The cross has very strong taperings on the arms. At the top stands "INRI" with a retrograde Renaissance N, over the side arms "Jesus Maria Ioseph" (curiously in uneven spelling, once modern J, once antique I). At the front there is an engraved cartouche which presumably contains a date but can hardly be read anymore, maybe "10 H? 1830".
DE: Dieses Wegkreuz steht an einer Seitenstrasse im Nordosten von Brislach in einem Gebiet, das vermutlich zum Zeitpunkt der Errichtung noch nicht überbeut war.
Das Kreuz hat sehr starke Verjüngungen an den Armen. An der Spitze steht "INRI" mit einem retrograden Renaissance-N, über die Seitenarme "Jesus Maria Ioseph" (eigenartigerweise in uneinheitlicher Schreibweise, einmal neuzeitliches J, einmal antikes I). Vorne befindet sich eine eingravierte Kartusche, die vermutlich eine Datierung enthält aber kaum mehr zu lesen ist, vielleicht "10 H? 1830".
