A splendid sighting in spite of partly cloudy skies. Here in northwest Oklahoma the ISS came into sight at 10:15 PM CDT, passing very near the crescent moon and peaking at 71 degrees overhead, with magnitude -3.2. The pass lasted for about six minutes.
My partner for this pass was Bon Echo, in Hamilton, ON, a bit over a thousand miles away or over three minutes of ISS flight time. From that vantage point the duration was also a bit over six minutes, with a maximum elevation of 49 degrees and magnitude -2.9.
