This large cemetery stretches from 5th st. back a couple hundreds yards.
The main driveway loops around the cemetery cross which is in the center of a rose garden in the center of a Labyrinth.
The cemetery contains over 3,000 grave sites.
Getting out at the Labyrinth, and walking about 60 yards due south you com to another rose garden, and in the center is a abstract piece of art.
This Art piece was created by Larry Pogue. He had petitioned the cemetery board for permission to use it as the tombstone for his wife buried here. He was allowed to place the piece near the grave, but could not use it as the actually grave stone.
Recently this cemetery has designated a plot t the east, just in front of the chapel as an animal (pet) cemetery
There is nothing I could find on the web about this chapel.
The building is a smallish brick and square. Entrance on the end (south) is a normal doorway, entrance on the side (west) is almost a garage door with concrete ramp for easy casket and wheelchair access.
I was not able to enter, but maintenance man on site informed me there was an alter, and chairs (not pews) inside for funeral services.
