Corio Villa was prefabricated in Scotland in 1855. The foundry which prefabricated it burned down soon after completing it, and the Villa’s style is now unique in the world. William Nairn Gray the man who ordered yhe house died before it arrived in Geelong in 1855, but was assembled by Alfred Douglas in 1856
