GMRC 381 is an AAR Class XM steel-sided boxcar. It most likely dates to the 1950's. The Green Mountain was owned by Nelson Blount, who also founded Steamtown USA. When the museum moved to Scranton in the early 1980's, 381 and sister 366 came with the collection.
GMRC 381 is currently on a dead line in the Steamtown yard, awaiting preservation/restoration.
