Kamenná kronika umístená vlevo od sochy lva uvádí 8 padlých vojínu v 1. svetové válce, seznam umucených v koncentracních táborech v letech 1939-1945, dva zahynulé v Nemecku v roce 1943 a dva padlé obcany behem kvetnové revoluce 1945.

The monument is located in the center of the village, about 30 meters east of Statenice castle. It is one of the most creative in the whole district. The composition of the czech lion, which bites the austrian eagle, is based on the fact that in 1918 (together with the end of the World War) a young Czechoslovak state emerged on the ruins of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
The stone chronicle, located to the left of the lion statue, lists 8 fallen soldiers in World War I, a list of torturers in concentration camps between 1939 and 1945, two dead in Germany in 1943, and two fallen citizens during the May 1945 Revolution.
