EN: This fountain stands at an intersection right next to the convention center of Basel. On the edge of the oval trough stands a bronze statue of a boy holding a swan. The swan serves as a faucet. The fountain dates back to 1864, there are two other fountains in the city that share the same symbol.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht an einer Kreuzung gleich bei der Messe Basel. Auf dem Rand des ovalen Brunnentrogs steht eine Bronzestatue eines Jungen, der einen Schwan festhält. Der Schwan dient als Wasserspeier. Der Brunnen stammt aus dem Jahr 1864, es gibt noch zwei weitere Brunnen in der Stadt, die dasselbe Symbol zeigen.
