EN: This approximately 10-meter-high fingerprint is probably one of the best known murals in Basel. The picture is located on a side wall right next to Kleinbasel police station in Clarastrasse.
The painting was created in 1981 by Jean-Pierre Zangger (1946-2016). It is his own left middle finger.
DE: Dieser rund 10 Meter hohe Fingerabdruck ist wohl eines der bekanntesten Wandbilder in Basel. Das Bild befindet sich an einer Seitenwand gleich neben der Polizeiwache Kleinbasel in der Clarastrasse.
Das Bild wurde 1981 von Jean-Pierre Zangger (1946-2016) geschaffen. Es handelt sich um seinen eigenen linken Mittelfinger.
