Waukomis Cemetery is located southwest of the town, at the intersection of CR 510 and 2860. In front of the brick chapel stands this white granite bench with the name WINCHESTER on the edge, and the date of marriage of Mar.29, 1946.
Dwight was in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was involved with the raising of Angus cattle most of his life. He and Leota raised five sons.
On one end of the bench is the engraving "In loving memory of Dwight Winchester / Aug. 6, 1925 - Feb. 16, 2007 / Grandpa Fudge / Winchester Angus."
On the other end of the bench, the dedication to leota reads: "In loving memory of Leota June (Brawley) Winchester / July 19, 1928 - July 17, 2009 / Grandma June / Mom"
