Near the north end of Waukomis Cemetery, in front of the chapel, this is a polished black granite monument, approximately 9 feet high. At the top is an engraving of the American flag, and an eagle. Beneath the wording are the seals of the five branches of the military. The monument was dedicated on May 26, 2014.
