Lal Lal Blast Furnace ruins are at the end of Ironmine Rd were built in 1880, the surrounding area includes the the cornish flue, tramway bed, iron mines, machinery sites, stone quarries and charcoal sites. The furnace is the only one of the Colonial era left standing and is the only nineteenth century blast furnace left standing in the Southern Hemisphere.
