Long Description:
While the Nowra Bowling Club was formed (in February 1914) just before 'The Great War' commenced, it wasn't until 1918 that the building, and the green was officially opened. While the clubhouse has had several renovations done in 1960, 1967, and 1999, it is not clear when the Flag Pole was placed in its current position, between the Community Commemorative plaque, and the viewing pavilion, which was added in 2006. [Information, from the club's website: Club Nowra

This white-painted Pole has a grey-painted buttressed base, right beside the path from the car park to the entrance of the Club.
