Ordnance Survey trig pillar, constructed in 1952, situated on low lying farmland just west of the Perthshire town of Coupar Angus.

This pillar is situated just off a narrow minor road headed south-west from Coupar Angus around half a mile from the town. It lies on the edge of a field just south-east of Kemphill Farm in between two mature trees. The pillar is still in good condition, but being only 62 metres above sea level views are restricted, west being the best outlook over open ground.
STEEPNESS: None.
TERRAIN: The final few yards around the field can be muddy in the wet.
ACCESSIBILITY: Parking is limited on the narrow road, but the pillar is only a half mile walk from Coupar Angus along Caddam Road. The pillar is around fifty yards or so from the roadside with access to the field through a gap in the roadside hedge. Keep to the edges of the field if crops are planted.
NAVIGATION: Along Caddam Road, a minor road running south-west out of Coupar Angus. Passing under pylons a gap appears in the hedge to the right where the pillar is visible between the thick trunks of two trees on the grassy verge between fields.
