Located in front of the Corvallis Benton County Public Library is a figurative sculpture of two children reading books, titled 'Storytime' and contains a plaque in front that reads:

In Memory of

JEANNE HELEN LARSON (1907-1991)
a passionate champion of libraries and
ROBERT KERMIT LARSON (1899-1991)
her most ardent supporter
form a family enriched by their presence.

In the hope this will help spread
the recognition of the importance
of libraries to the future of our children.

This sculpture is listed in the Smithsonian Art Inventory database and explains that the sculpture honors Jeanne H. Larson, former Library Director and staff member from 1948 to 1967. It was funded by contributions from the Larson family and others in the community.
