As some of the path is a bit rocky, and there is a wooden step, then this is not suitable for unassisted wheelchairs. Some of the boardwalk is elevated by 60 cm, but mostly it is about 30 cm off the heathland. Especially the dune lagoon does it seem vital to relieve pressure on the more sensitive environment.
There is only room for a couple of cars to park at the entrance to the Headland Walk.
