Erkennbar sind auch Wappen der Dauner Dynasten (Fürsten), so das Dauner Wappengitter und Wappen derer von Manderscheid und Virnenburg."

Well preserved bracing slabs are attached to the retaining wall facing the road. The cast-iron plates, which used to provide protection from the high heat of the hearth, depict scenes from medieval life. Also recognizable are the coats of arms of the Daun dynasts (princes), so the Dauner coat of arms grid and coat of arms of those of Manderscheid and Virnenburg."
