The pillory is rather close to the entrance before you go into the more ruined part of the castle area and stands next to a dragon from a regional tourist campain.
I doubt that the pillory has been here since the erection of the castle because it looks newer and it has a new sign screwed to it with the name of the castle. Nevertheless this was a medieval castle and the pillory belongs in that time, so I chose the building date as the period. Anyone who has other news please say so.
