Wood from vinegar storage tanks, circa 1920, was utilized to construct the Heinz Walkway tunnel entrance from Kollen Park, a monument wall, and the half circle wall at the 16th Street entrance.
Wood from pickle fermentation tanks, circa 1925, was utilized to construct the Heinz perimeter fence along the walkway and other perimeter areas.
The Walkway was dedicated on October 11, 2008.
Parking available across the street at the 16th Street entrance.
Parking available in Kollen Park, enter at 10th Street and Van Raalte Avenue.
Parking available in lot at 12th Street and Kollen Park Drive..
