This Eagle Scout Project is a Recycle and Trash can set on Belle Isle at the end of the pedestrian foot bridge that hangs under the Lee Bridge. Belle Isle is in the middle of the James River in downtown Richmond. The island has a lot of history to it. It was once a Civil War prison, a horse racing track an has ruins of a old electic power plant.
Today the island is a park and is used by runners, mtn bikers, rock climbers and goecachers.
