There are three separate areas, but close together, for the children's Playground. The larger part is mostly square metal posts, with activity elements in between. There is a Tumbling Bar, and a Rotating Drum to run on, with a supporting bar, a cable Cargo Net, a purple-painted Monkey Bar, a moderately low platform with a Hanging Bridge across to a higher Platform. That has an angled roof, with a set of Steps up as well, and plastic Slippery Dip, or a Fireman's Pole to choose from for descent. There is also a small cup-shaped, single-person 'Spinner'. This all surrounded by sandstone block edging, with wood-chip 'soft-fall'.

Towards the new Broke Bridge, and the Flying Fox Memorial is a Swing Set in the grassed parkland.

Further to the back of the park, towards the river (Wollombi Brook), there is a 'Geodesic Climbing Frame', with metal spars on the outside, and a cabled 'spider's web' within it. It is surrounded by soft-fall chips, and sandstone block edging.
