L.M. Mitchell's gravesite is located near the southeast entrance of the Fairview cemetery. I did not find any information on L. M. Mitchell. There is a large granite stone covering the burial site that reads: L.M. Mitchell Born March 4, 1837 Died Oct. 29, 1909.
The family stone has the text "MITCHELL" and has the likeness of an elderly gentleman with a beard and goatee in a suit and tie.
