A very large steel aloy bell just outside of this beatiful Gothic style Catholic Church.

Sometimes descriptions for bells can be difficult. This one came with its own sign that covered everything.
This 44 inch steel alloy bell
weighing 1790 pounds, bought for
$200 for the third church dedicated
in 1907, was too heavy for the
belfry. It was placed here and is
tolled on special occasions.

...And contrary to one written account, the large bell in the church yard was not in the belfry. It was ordered for it but the bell was too big for the tower construction. It sits in the church yard and is tolled at funerals. The bell in the tower is from the second church.
