"The Broke War Memorial consists of a shelter with a number of plaques commemorating those who have served in the various conflicts and peacekeeping operations in which Australia has been involved.
"The original war memorial, which was unveiled on the 16th September 1922, consisted of a marble honour roll on a slab on which was mounted a machine gun." Broke War Memorial
So, the original white marble Honour Roll for World War One has been placed above the subsequent one for World War Two, on a narrow wooden wall, under a small green corrugated iron awning. Surrounding it is a low, black, iron fence. In front is a broad grey marble, or granite plaque for Post WW2 conflicts, and Peace-Keeping involvements, which reads:
