An hourglass in the Mooringe family monument in the north wall near the chancel of St Andrew's church, Whitchurch. It is set above the memorial, beside a carved skull, and has the motto 'Mors Nobis Lucrum' (Our Life is in Christ)

"This family, which continued here for many descents, appears to have become extinct, or to have removed about the year 1640."
