From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 6.0 miles, a little past the intersection with FR1018, to the quarter corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 4" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is S, about 200' from the centerline of ORE242. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes. There is a yellow BEARING TREE tag and an ATTENTION sign on the backside of the more distant tree.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land all around;
