Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S89.6°W from T15S R9E S4 3 10 9 COR, 2641' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on a U-post which bears E, 28" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?:
private property S from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
