The Seminole Historical Society is located towards the back of Seminole City Park. The museum is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00am-2:00pm. Admission is free but gladly take donations. They have speakers here from time to time and that can be found on their website.
This building housed Seminole's First City Hall from December 1977 to February 2005. It has since been renovated to the building you see now.
The property was once owned by the Meares Family in 1872. The city bought the property in 1974 for a city park and city hall.
The timeline on the website dates back to 1822.
