Heritage Park was created as a Bicentennial Project by the Absecon Kiwanis Club. The dedication is chiseled into a boulder near the entrance to the park and the 9/11 Memorial. There is a bronze plaque on the rear of the boulder. It reads:
"PRESENTED TO THE CITIZENS OF ABSECON"
by the Absecon Kiwanis Club
The boulder inscription reads:

Commemoration of the
American Revolution
Bicentennial
1776-1976
Dedicated April 25, 1976

Condition: Bronze marker in good condition, the bould insciption badly eroded.
