From the Sisters Ranger Station drive generally W on US20 and ORE242 for 1.6 miles to the intersection with FR15. Continue 1.8 miles WSW on FR15 to the intersection with FR1510. Drive generally NW about 1.0 miles on FR1510 to a locked gate, then continue WNW an additional 1.1 miles on foot. Turn left onto FR1510-600 and continue about 0.5 miles to a locked gate and the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 5" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 425' W from the centerline of FR1510-600 and 12" W from the corner post of a fence running E and N. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign mounted on a U-post which bears 42" N. Found two 6' sawed stumps and a ponderosa pine with a yellow BEARING TREE tag and an ATTENTION sign on the backside.

Deschutes National Forest land NW from the corner, else private property; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 15 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 2, 1966;
