The Two Rivers Greenway will connect Binghamton's River Walk to Vestal's Rail Trail. There are two sections of the Vestal Rail Trail that have been completed. This is part of the original trail. The next part of the Greenway to be built will connect Binghamton to The University at Binghamton (SUNY). This section is in the planning stage, although phase one to cross from Binghamton to the south-side just opened. It will be a few years planning and building. Meanwhile the Vestal Rail Trail is well used, especially as the weather finally warms.
