This 'Artistic Seating' bench is shaped as about two-thirds of a circle, with the opening to the Manning River, and with a tapering back rest to the open ends. It is completely covered with ceramic pieces, mostly broken glazed coloured broken tiles, but with some specific moulded pieces inserted.

The inlaid inscription reads:

"Our Mayor
1999 to 2003
MICK TUCK
Truthful Gentle
& Fearless

Mick's Chair
was erected in his
memory by the community
for the enjoyment of all.

Scenes depict some of the
culture, leisure, industry
and places of the
Manning Valley."
