On the northeast corner of E. Cherokee Street and N. Cassaver Avenue on the grounds of the Wagoner County Courthouse, this is an old bronze plaque mounted on a rusticated granite block.

The inscription reads:

Dedicated to the sons of
Wagoner County who gave their
lives during the Second
World War

By this living symbol we will remember
that they did not die in vain
