Der Fühlinger See ist eine Sport-, Park- und Naherholungsanlage im Kölner Norden. Zentrales Element sind mehrere miteinander verbundene künstliche Seen, von denen die meisten für verschiedene Wassersportarten genutzt werden.

Der größte dieser Seeen wurde 1978 als Regattabahn für den professionellen Rudersport angelegt. Der See ist 2.000 Meter lang (mit Auslaufsee 2.300 Meter) und 130 Meter breit. Er ist in sechs Bahnen à 13,5 Meter aufgeteilt. Im Zielbereich gibt es eine Zuschauertribüne mit 350 Sitzplätzen, Aussichtsplattformen für Zuschauer sowie ein Gebäude mit Logenplätzen und Räumen für Schiedsrichter, Kommentatoren und Presse.

Highlight war die Austragung der FISA-Ruder-Weltmeisterschaft 1998 auf dieser Regattabahn. Aber auch heute wird die Bahn noch regelmäßig für Training und Wettkämpfe im professionellen Rudersport genutzt.

Fühlinger See is a sports, park and recreational facility in the north of Cologne. The central element is several interconnected artificial lakes, most of which are used for various water sports activities.

The largest of these lakes has been created in 1978 as a regatta course for professional rowing. The lake is 2,000 meters long (with runout lake 2,300 meters) and 130 meters wide. It is divided into six lanes of 13.5 meters width each. In the finish area there is a grandstand with 350 seats, viewing platforms for spectators and a building with skyboxes and rooms for referees, commentators and press.

Highlight was the hosting of the FISA rowing world-championship 1998 on this regatta course. But even today, the track is still regularly used for training and competitions in professional rowing.
