I realized this vineyard was a century farm when seeing the sign designating it as one upon entering the grounds. The family runs a vineyard and hazelnut tree orchard operation. Originally, this was a dairy farm for many decades. It was converted to a vineyard in the 1980s. The hazelnut orchard operation is more recent. There is a wine tasting room located in the former dairy milking room. Lots of history on the family operation can be appreciated here and visitors may partake in a mile-long nature trail on the property during seasonal months.
