From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 5.9 miles to the intersection with FR1018. Turn left and continue about 1.5 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 1735' E from the centerline of FR1018. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on a U-post which bears E, 44" distant. Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes and the usual complement of metal signs.

private property S from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
