From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 5.9 miles to the intersection with FR1018. Turn left and continue about 1.5 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 4" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 910' W from the centerline of FR1018 and 10'0" N from a barbed wire fence running E and W. There is a partly burned Carsonite post at the corner and a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign on a U-post which bears W, 33" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.

private property S from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
