Ohev Zedeck Cemetery Water Pump - Hamilton, Ontario - Hand Operated Water Pumps on Waymarking.com

This old-fashioned water pump is located just outside of the Ohev Zedeck Cemetery in Hamilton, Ontario. It was not operating when I visited on 21 April 2018, but that might be due to the time of year (winterized). The pump appears to be an authentic water pump, used for wells and cisterns. The water from the pump flows into a sink, which appears to drain onto the parking lot surface. I suspect this pump is used to supply water to use for watering graveyard flowers and such.

Access to the cemetery is through the driveway and parking lot that leads to the Courtyard Marriott hotel.

The pump shaft is stamped:
