This large memorial stands in front of the Wagoner County Courthouse.

East of the main entrance to the courthouse, this large red granite monument is about 8 feet high and 12 feet wide. It consists of five segments of different heights, each capped with rusticated stone.

Each segment has an engraving of the seal of a branch of the military, and an engraved picture of soldiers in action. The center section has an engraving of an eagle and flags and the dedication which reads:

Wagoner
County
Veterans
Memorial
Engraved here in stone
and in the hearts of
the people forever
are those who gave
their lives for our
freedom

Listed are 15 veterans from WWI, 71 from WWII, 7 from the Korean War and 16 from Vietnam. In front of the monument is a granite bench. Wagoner Co. War Memorial
