The community building is located on N. Jefferson Street, directly east of the State Armory. This is a one-story rock building with a modified U-shape. The exterior walls are constructed of cut and unrusticated flat stones, set with deeply incised mortar. It has the look of many park buildings constructed by the CCC. Built in 1941, the building has a hipped roof, currently covered with composition shingles. A center cross gable and building extension has been added between the two original wings. Although the construction has attempted to copy the original, the difference is noticeable and detracts somewhat from the look of the building.
Large stones have been placed above the entrances and windows, forming arches. Most of the windows have been filled in with wood paneling. Many of the stones used in this construction are pitted with what looks like worm holes. We have not seen this in other stone construction in Oklahoma. We also noted that the roof joists showing in the eaves are tree trunks.
There is no signage on the building, but it appears to be actively used by the community.
