This tree is located near the northeast corner of the Stayton-Jordan Bridge at Pioneer Park in Stayton, Oregon.
Greg and Ruth were married on December 18, 1970 in Portland. After retiring in 2000, Ruth and Greg moved to the Stayton-Sublimity communities. Greg served on the Stayton Library Board and Parks Board. He was also a member of Friends of the Library. In 2009, Greg and Ruth helped create The Santiam Senior Center in Stayton, where he served as president of the board for several years.
To Greg, family was everything. He was happiest when he was with his wife and family, including his children, Jennifer and Ryan, and five grandchildren. Sadly, Greg passed away on December 4, 2017 after a long illness. He will be greatly missed by his family as well as the Stayton-Sublimity communities.
