Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S89.0°W from T15S R10E S7 8 17 18 COR, 2655' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 24" in a large mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are LAND SURVEY MONUMENT and PROPERTY BOUNDARY signs on a U-post which bears E, 36" distant. Found three ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.


What property is this mark defining?:
private property S from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
