Elmwood Cemetery on the North side of Wagoner was dedicated in 1900. The WPA constructed a 1070 ft. long wall along its southern side. The wall is made of unrusticated, uncoursed native sandstone and is approximately 12 inches wide. The wall was constructed in 1936. Two slightly higher pillars flank a pedestrian entrance, and are stone-topped. (The taller pillars at the current entrance pre-date the WPA and were constructed in 1932.)
