BurntWoodsStock Barn - Blodgett, OR - Barns on Waymarking.com

This barn is hard to miss when traveling on Hwy 20 between Blodgett and Burnt Woods! It sits on what was a 189 acre farm established circa 1910. In addition to this old barn, there are a few old outbuildings, as well as the original farmhouse.

In 1956, the farm was purchased by Hanyan & Leone Kasner, who successfully ran the farm for almost 50 years. Their son and grandchildren held an annual grassroots music festival on the farm from 2009 to 2013.

The farm seems to have been sitting dormant for the last several years. The old farmhouse is uninhabitable. The barn and outbuildings appear to be used to store old farm equipment and other cast away belongings. The property does have an air of sadness to it now, but it's original beauty can still be seen and felt.

[Please note that when pictures were taken, permission to be inside property line and barn had been granted by the owner. Please be respectful of the private property and do not trespass. You can still get a great view of this barn from the highway and/or the driveway!)
