Mid 19th century former school building on Cam Pitch, Lower Cam. Looking north towards the school around the turn of the 20th century (~1910) and 2018.
"closed its doors for the last time in 1966 before becoming a community hall has been converted into a home.
Founded in the 19th century, Lower Cam Infants’ School was a place of learning for generations of children before the building was taken over by neighbouring St Bartholomew’s Church.
For decades the Grade II listed building was used for community events before being sold by the church."

"Church hall. Mid C19. Squared and coursed limestone, ashlar quoins, stone slate roofs. Picturesque composition, parallel range block with porch in internal angle and return block to street; lead-covered timber bell-cote. Two storeys, various multi-light mullioned casements with pointed heads, under drips and stops. Plank door in pointed arch to porch."
