EN: This wooden fountain is located on a forest path south of Ettingen. The trough consists of an hollowed-out tree trunk. The fountain column is decorated with a notched honeycomb pattern and serves only as a support, as the tube leads directly through from the back wall. At the trough there is a signposting of the Solothurn forest hiking trails, which run for a short distance in the area of the neighboring canton here.
DE: Dieser Holzbrunnen staht an einem Waldweg südlich von Ettingen. Der Trog besteht aus einem ausgehöhlten Baustamm. Die Brunnensäule ist mit einem eingekerbten Wabenmuster dekoriert und dient nur als Stütze, da das Rohr direkt hindurch aus der rückseitigen Wand kommt. Am Trog ist eine Wegmarkierung der Solothurner Waldwanderwege angebracht, die hier über eine kurze Strecke auf dem Gebiet des Nachbarkantons verläuft.
