"Imposing three-storey Georgian inn, overlooking the longest village green in England where cricket is regularly played in summer. A former barn alongside is used for meetings and skittles; a second barn delights children with its farm animal collection. High-quality home-cooked food is served until 9pm (8pm Sun), and there are themed evenings. Thatchers cider is available. Accommodation comprises two suites and two double rooms. On national cycle route 41, close to both the canal and M5."
