This is an African-American neighborhood, and tennis courts were just not right. Once the basketball hoops, and painted courts were finished, this site received very active use.

Concession stand and rest rooms are right next to the courts.

There are three courts, well painted, and well cared for, running east-west within the fence. Each is fenced from the other to prevent balls from bouncing across another court disrupting their game.
These courts are also lighted.
