The bronze coloured metal plaque is 'riveted' to the top backrest slab, and has the following inscription printed/etched on it:

This seat has been provided by
Australian Red Cross Berry Branch
  and members of the community
	 In memory of
 JEANETTE GALBRAITH (nee Milne)
	     2016

The Dedicated bench backs onto a concrete footpath, that goes beside a depression, potential stream. It has two wooden slats for the backrest, with the top one that 'hosts' the plaque, being a bit wider that the lower one. The 'seat' part has three wooden slats, with a slight 'anatomical' curve to it. It has cast iron ends to it, and it is mounted on a rectangular concrete slab.

It has a good view of the historic Berry School of Arts, just over the road.
